Who we are? We are Daniel, Kristin and Kai, three nerdy engineers and scientists who decided that doing something completely unscientific and unengineery (?) for a year would be a great idea, so we bought an old boat, made it working again and set off from Sicily to sail through the western Mediterranean, cross the Atlantic and explore the Caribbean. Our boat is called Serenity, and if you don’t see how this is relevant, you are clearly not doing anything useful with your life.
